About the CPL Board of Trustees
The Churubusco Public Library Board meets the second Monday of every month, at 6:00 PM, in the library, unless otherwise advertised.
The Library Board of Trustees is composed of seven members. Three members are appointed by the Smith-Green School Board, one member is appointed by each of the following Whitley County Commissioners, the Whitley County Council, the Churubusco Town Council and the Smith Township Trustees. All terms have staggered expiration dates, and each term is for 4 years. The Board governs and sets library policy and oversees financial affairs, with the input of the Library Director and Treasurer (if not a board member).
