Story Hours

The Churubusco Public Library offers story times for children on the first and third Saturdays of each month.  The first story times include a story and a craft, and the second story time includes watching a movie.  Check at the library for times and themes.

Book Buddies & Discovery Kits

Book Buddies are  theme-based collections of books, games, and toys for children to manipulate and move to extend learning and dramatic play.  Book Buddies kits include: bakery/deli, construction workers, magnets, music, transportation, first responders, and many more!
 
Discovery Boxes are provided by the Ft. Wayne Children’s Zoo, and introduce children to various science concepts.  These portable learning kits contain bio-facts, resources, activity ideas, videos, puppets, and more!

Dial-A-Story

Parents or children can call a special number {693-1585} at any time and listen to a short story over the phone.  This is a free service, and is available 24-hours a day.  The story is changed regularly.

Kids Clubs

LEGO Club: Builders meet each month on the 1st Tuesday,
​after school, at the library.
Pokemon Club: meets each month on the 2nd Tuesday, after school, at the library.
Yu-Gi-Oh Club: meets on the 3rd Tuesday,
after school, at the library.
Kids Book Club: Book lovers meet each month on the
4th Tuesday, after school, at the library.

Young Adult Book Club

The Young Adult Book Club meets each month, in person and online, to discuss books and their love of reading. 

Summer Reading Program

The Churubusco Public Library offers a fun and exciting
Summer Reading Program each year!
